California Healing Day 4
/So I decided I’d visit San Jose today, because, well why the F not! I spent the day walking along Santana Row, which is pretty ritzy, high end shops (Kate Spade is my weakness ahhhh). Anyways, I spent most of my time just taking in the sights, and doing a little shopping. I walked into a few stores, and fell in love with this dress. I checked the price.. $350..HAH I almost pooped my pants a bit. I’ll just do the awkward nonchalant nod of my head, pretend not to be phased, as I slowly turn and make my way out. Oh Cali.
I stopped in this super cute Mexican patio bar that was in the middle of the road (I’m not quite sure how else to describe it lol) and enjoyed some guac w. chips and churros to myself while people watching. It was my favourite part of the day, I LOVE people watching. Just seeing them go about their days. There’s something so relaxing about it. I always wonder what their story is, how their day is going, are they happy? Ya my mind is a little deep at times (ok ok most of the time).
I spent the rest of the afternoon on this patio just chillen, writing my blog and enjoying the moment. Then I checked out the outside of the famous Winchester house… the one that haunted movie was based on. I was tempted to go inside but I heard it was a tourist trap and not worth it, so I just read up on it while I watched from afar. The reason of why she kept building and building this never-ending, never finished house are ultimately unknown BUT there are many theories of course which you can read here
Then my cousin and I ended our night in San Jose Pedro square for dinner and music, while we got to watch all the hockey fans get all riled up since it was the All Star Skills competition that night or something just down the road from us!!! Right away I was like k so then where’s ma man Crosby at? (kidding…sorta).
It’s funny how many people use electric scooters here….like the scooters that look like the ones I would use as a kid…and they share them to get around, it’s pretty funny to watch. and of course can’t forget there was this guy who would just bike back and forth dragging this speaker blasting, get people all riled up!
We just headed home after, and topped the night off with a movie in bed, which was just the perfect end to the day.
